FITNESS PRO 90

Cardio Fitness:

Give us 6 months:

1. Fitness Prep -We will take you from the very base level of fitness the couch potato and bring you through the rigors of a beginning workout program. This class is now  Monday, Wednesday,  Friday

2. Fitness Pro - Intermediate fitness. Certainly no reason to stop at a beginning level. Watch your strength and endurance grow as you lose unwanted pounds.

3. Fitness Prime -is our third level of fitness program designed to take you still further along that path to achieving the sleek, toned healthy body that you have always wanted.

This is our 90 day fitness program. Cardio and body weight conditioning to help you get in the best shape of your life.

NAUTILUS

Come and try our state of the art Nautilus Nitro Plus equipment to assist you in reaching your toning and strengthening goals. We also have elliptical machines, step mill, treadmills, and bikes.

O-2 ZONE

Supplement your training with the O-2 Zone. Where you can breathe purified oxygen to kill the free radicals in your system and increase your stamina.

 

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING

We have three main goals for our students:

- LEARN PRACTICAL SELF DEFENSE:

Family Martial Arts and Fitness Studios has a system of natural, easy to learn movements, which are designed to allow individuals aged young and old, male or female, to defend themselves against aggressive, often larger opponents.

- PROMOTE BETTER HEALTH:

In order to eliminate wasted motion and promote increased speed and power, students are taught to become more relaxed and fluid. The way we train also has an aerobic effect. This improves the cardiovascular system (hearts and lungs) and accelerates the body’s metabolism, causing you to burn more calories and to lose weight. Regular training also results in increased balance, flexibility, strength, muscle tone, speed, coordination, and improved reflexes and timing! Once in better health, you will not only look better and feel better, you will also have a lot more energy to do the things you enjoy.

- DEVELOP A STRONG MIND:

In this aspect, our curriculum surpasses all other exercise and sports activities. Our program is taught according to individual needs and levels of skills. Through our instructor’s guidance and encouragement, students begin to establish, and actually achieve, personal goals. Students learn that, by setting realistic goals and applying dedication and hard work, anything is possible. They develop confidence! The virtues of Respect, Concentration, Discipline, and Motivation are the characteristics of a truly confident individual. All these, and more, are stressed by our Staff. We thank you for wanting to take interest.

We offer a variety of age appropriate classes designed to promote better health and martial science understanding.

LITTLE DRAGONS: AGES 3-4 Covers a variety of games and exercises encorage fun involvement in physical fitness. It is also designed to be interactive with the children to teach martial skills. The games that we play at this level are designed to promote strength and timing, periphrial vision, and of course fun.

We also teach about Stranger Danger, Fitness and Nutrition, 911, Fire Safety, and How to deal with the bully"

MIGHTY DRAGONS: Ages 5-7 This is somewhat the same as Little Dragons but it has a more focused martial arts program. It is designed to capture the attention of the older students to develop a longer attention span and belt advancement.

YOUTH: 8-16 At this level we have a greater anticipation of martial training. We teach a variety of fun and practical techniques to our students while teaching them to understand the value of human life. At this level the students must learn the same curriculum as our adult students -just not to the same depth. We also play a variety of structured games with the youth designed to build timing, range,strength and the ability to listen and follow instructions.

ADULT: 17- UP Our adult program is of course our most cognitive. We have the freedom to teach a little more outside the box then we would with our youth. Our program is pretty diverse covering groundfighting, standing, and grasping and controlling techniques.

LADIES SELF DEFENSE: Ladies self defense is a senarios based training program. It is designed to allow the student to work through a confrontation and to develop the necessary attitude and response appropriate to bring resolution.

DEMO TEAM : The goal of demo team is to develop a core of students dedicated to the training and demonstration of martial skill through more extensive training in the martial arts. These students get to work on more advanced techniques then most students improving their coordination and cognitive understanding of the application range of the techniques they learn.

BLACK BELT CLUB : This is a fun class designed to supplement the regular traiing program of adult or older youth students. We do nto work out in this class at all. We only work on technique application on other students. It is an opportunity to FAST TRACK your training.

KUNG FU CLUB: Is a serperate system of martial arts training then the previous system of Shaolin Kempo. This class is only offered on an invitation only basis.

FAMILY PRIVATES: This is an oppotunity for a family to come in together to study the martial arts. It is designed as a private class but will facilitate family interaction with in the class.

 COMBAT HAPKIDO: This is a fast paced program of breakaway and control techniques. It has no forms, only self defense application. Very Fun and Very practical!

MAXIMUM IMPACT TRAINING: This class is designed to take a techniques and work it to complation. In this class student will learn new or familiar techniques taht they will work until they can apply it against a full speed , full power attack, with a full speed controlled response. This class also included military defensive tactics involving full speed knife and gun defense. Students learn to break down 9mm and other weapons putting them back together blind folded -only after mastering this familiarity with their weapon they will go out and learn combative shooting techniques.

INSTRUCTORS COLLEGE: This program is designed for the students wishing to pursure martial arts as a vocation. We teach them how to teach and we teach them the business of martial arts from answering phones to filling out paperwork, to student retention.
